The DPL progressive dividers are compact monoblock dividers designed for precise metering and distribution of oil or grease to multiple lubrication points within a centralized lubrication system. The lubricant is directed to the different outlets by a series of pistons operating in a fixed sequence. Each piston actuates the next, creating a complete progressive lubrication cycle.
As all pistons are interconnected, the cycle stops if one component does not function correctly or if an external blockage occurs. This allows the entire distribution process to be monitored using a single visual or electrical control. Depending on the version, the DPL is available as a standard divider, with visual indicator pin or with inductive cycle monitoring.
How the DPL progressive divider works
The DPL operates with pistons that actuate each other in a fixed sequence. Lubricant pressure first moves one piston and then actuates the next piston. During each movement, a metered quantity of lubricant is discharged through one of the outlets.
The diagrams below illustrate the complete cycle. Once the final piston movement has been completed, the divider is ready to start a new cycle.

- Lubricant pressure (blue) moves piston 1 to the left, causing the lubricant (yellow) to be discharged through outlet G.
-
When piston 1 reaches its end position, lubricant pressure (blue) acts on piston 2. The lubricant (yellow) is discharged through outlet A.
-
When piston 2 reaches its end position, lubricant pressure (blue) acts on piston 3. The lubricant (yellow) is discharged through outlet C.
-
When piston 3 reaches its end position, lubricant pressure (blue) acts on piston 1 again. The lubricant (yellow) is discharged through outlet F.
-
When piston 1 reaches its end position, lubricant pressure (blue) acts on piston 2. The lubricant (yellow) is discharged through outlet B.
- When piston 2 reaches its end position, lubricant pressure (blue) acts on piston 3. The lubricant (yellow) is discharged through outlet E. The system is now ready for a new cycle.
Combining outlets for a higher flow rate
Each outlet delivers 200 mm³ per cycle as standard. When a lubrication point requires more lubricant, multiple outlets can be combined.
By changing the configuration of the plugs, the lubricant can be directed to another outlet. The example in the documentation shows, among other configurations, how flow rates can be combined to provide 400 mm³ and 800 mm³ per cycle.

Using one or two outlets
As standard, the separating element divides the lubricant between two outlets. By removing this element and plugging one of the two outlets, the entire flow can be discharged through a single outlet.
