When the pump is activated, pressure reaches opening (1). Due to the sealing action of the valve lip (2), the lubricant flows into chamber (3). This causes piston (4) to move and deliver the previously stored amount of lubricant from chamber (5).

During the pressure relief phase, piston (4), driven by the spring, returns to its original position. This movement opens the sealing valve (2), releases opening (6), and allows the lubricant to be transferred from chamber (3) to chamber (5).

Piston (4) has completed its full stroke. The lubricant has been completely transferred from chamber (3) to chamber (5). The sealing valve (2) has closed opening (6) again. The dosing valve is now ready for a new lubrication cycle.
