Operation – accurate dosing with minimal waste
A Midi Lubetool uses adjustable pneumatic plunger pumps to deliver very small amounts of oil through a flexible line to the spray nozzle. Compressed air atomizes the oil into a fine, uniform film, significantly reducing friction and heat between contact surfaces.
The compressed air pressure at the nozzle should be set between 0.3 and 1.0 bar, ideally 0.5 bar. The operating pressure for the solenoid valve controlling the pump and frequency generator should be between 5 and 10 bar.
